In 2026, SAMA implemented an Assessment Innovation Program that builds on our long-established goals of being an organization that is looking to continually improve the work we do. The program uses careful strategic coordination to oversee four main pillars of the work SAMA does to create efficiencies and properly manage the assessment system in Saskatchewan. The four pillars are:

- New Technology
- Quality Coordination
Together, these pillars will guide how we modernize our processes, use data and tools more effectively, reduce rework, and maintain consistent, high-quality assessment practices across the Agency.
