SAMA 2016 Annual General Meeting - Looking Ahead to 2017
SAMA hosted delegates from municipal governments and stakeholder groups at its 2016 Annual General Meeting at the Saskatoon Inn in Saskatoon on April 26, 2016. Once again this year, SAMA and the Ministry of Government Relations facilitated an Assessment and Taxation Training Session for local government administrators in conjunction with the Annual Meeting. Information provided at the Annual Meeting included a progress report from the CEO, plenary sessions discussing preliminary values for the upcoming 2017 revaluation, and an update on the Agency's technology innovations. This year's keynote speaker was John Gormley.
