USE = Non Arable Land Use
The land use for the non arable land. On the sample sheet the symbol in area a) is NG. "NG" is the symbol for the land use native grass. The symbol for area b) ASP is for the "Aspen" land use. This is a tree covered pasture area on the quarter.

CON = Coniferous
H = Hay land, dry land
H/HWT = Hay land, high water table
H/IRR = Hay land, irrigated

Non Arable Property Use Code
The 4 digit property use code which SAMA uses to indicate the property use. Numbers starting at 2100 and ending at 2145 are for non arable land; code 2111 is for native pasture.

LMI: Local Market Index (For Pasture)
The LMI is an index used to adjust provincial average values to the local sale prices in a pasture neighbourhood. There were not consistent numbers of sales by geographic area to allow stratification of pasture sales into separate neighbourhoods. The entire province of Saskatchewan has an LMI of 1.00.
