Support of Assessment Appeals
SAMA staff attend hearings to explain how the property values were determined in order to ensure the correct value appears on the assessment roll. SAMA will attend Local Boards of Revisions, Saskatchewan Municipal Board Assessment Appeal Committee hearings, as well as Saskatchewan Court of Appeal hearings.
Municipalities notify SAMA of upcoming appeal hearings. There is no cost to municipalities for this service.
Withdrawing an Assessment Appeal

Urban or Rural Municipalities
To withdraw an assessment appeal with respect to a property in an Urban or Rural municipality, please complete the Agreement to Adjust Form (Municipalities Act or Cities Act).
