Econ. Factors = Economic Factors Rating
Topography, stones, natural hazards, man-made hazards, and tree cover are all economic factors that are taken into account in determining the final assessment rating for an arable land rating area. These economic factors reflect costs that are inherent in farming the land. All economic factors are summed to determine the "Econ. Factors" rating. The economic factor rating is then subtracted from the productivity rating to produce a final assessment rating. The Econ. Factor rating is subtracted from the productivity rating to calculate a final assessment rating.

The total number of points to be subtracted is 10 points.
