The soil textures for non-arable land are used to help identify what type of pasture range site is present. They are not used in any calculation procedure. There are four non-arable soil textures: TXT1, TXT2, TXT3 and TXT4. TXT1 is the first texture of the first non-arable soil association. "CL" is the symbol for a clay loam textured soil and is TXT1.

TXT2 is the second non-arable soil texture. "L" is the symbol for Loam.

TXT3 is the first texture of the second non-arable soil association.

TXT4 is the second non-arable soil texture of the second non-arable soil association. On the sample sheet, there is only one soil association therefore the TXT3 and TXT4 areas are blank.

Note: Non-arable soil textures: TXT1 and TXT2 are used only for the first soil association. And TXT3 and TXT4 are used only for the second soil association.
